Kranssit, The Wreaths

Tykkään kaikenlaisista kransseista tosi paljon. Tein jokusen myös minikoossa markkinoille. Punainen näyttää jouluiselta, vaikka kuinka on helle ja heinäkuu.

I like very much all kind of wreaths. I made several miniature ones for the fair. The red in rather christmassy, though it is warm and July.

Markkinoille ovat lähdössä nämäkin kalusteet. Tein muutaman kappaleen erän naulakoita ja kenkätelineitä sekä laatikoita, joissa voi säilyttää vaikkapa sanomalehtiä.

For the fair are also these hall furniture. I made some hat and coat racks, shelves for shoes and boxes, where one can store for example newspapers.

Markkinoille, For the Fair

Ompelin jo keväällä markkinoille viisi tilkkupeittoa. Nämä ovat parisängyn peittoja. Ne on koottu pikkuruisista neliöistä.
Peittoja ei ollut helppo kuvat. Näissa kuvissa ovat esillä vain värit ja kuviot.

Already in spring I sewed five quilt bedspreads for the fair. These are large enough for the double bed. The quilts are made from tiny squares.
It was difficult to photograph them. In the photos only the colours and patterns can be seen.

Markkinoille, For the Fair

Sain valmiiksi keittiön astiakaappeja markkinoille, mutta sitten tuli mieleeni kysymys, miten ylähyllyille ylettyy. Ei auttanut muu kuin tehdä jakkaroitakin. Olen käyttänyt seuraavia maaleja:
Wedgewood Green, Brown Oxide, Sandstone, Blue Stoneware, Antique White ja White.
Nämä ovat Plaidin Apple Barrel -värejä. Minusta ne ovat parhaita akryylimaaleja minitöihin. Omani olen hankkinut Nukkekoti ja Lelun nettikaupasta.

A couple days ago I finished these dressers for the fair, but then I wondered, how one can reach the top shelves. So I had to make also dresser stools. I have painted dressers and stools with following colours: Wedgewood Green, Brown Oxide, Sandstone, Blue Stoneware, Antique White and White. These are Plaid's Appel Barrel -colours. I think that they are the best acrylic paints for miniature projects. I have bought mine from Nukkekoti ja Lelu's online shop.

Näissä keittiön sivupöydissä, joissa on kaksi hyllyä, on paljon tilaa vihanneksille, hedelmillä, astioille jne.

These kitchen side tables with two shelves have a lot of space for vegetables, fruits, dishes etc.

Nyt saan päivittäin viimeisteltyä markkinoille erilaisia minejä. Eilen sain valmiiksi kelloja, muutaman ilmoitustaulun, viherkasveja ja parvekelaatikoita kukkineen. Joku tässä talossa pitää kasveista kovasti...

Now I give finishing touches every day to different kind of miniatures. Yesterday I got ready clocks and some notice boards, plants and window boxes with flowers. Someone in this house loves plants...

Markkinoille olen tehnyt myös muutaman kirjoitusalustan ja yrttilaatikon.

I have made for the fair also some writing pads and herbs boxes.

Keittiön mattoja, The Kitchen carpets

Tässä keittiön mattoja Forssan markkinoille. Olen kirjonut ne puoliristipistoilla. Jokainen matto on omanlaisensa.

Here some kitchen carpets for the Forssa Fair. I have embroidered them with half cross stiches. Everyone is one of a kind.

Työhuone valmis, The Work room ready

Villa Ainon työhuone on "valmis". Laitoin huonekalut ym. kuvausboxiin, koska minulla on edelleen vaikeuksia saada kuvia nukkekodin sisältä. Kuvat jäävät kovin tummiksi.

Villa Aino's work room is ready. I put the furniture etc. to the photo roombox, because I still have difficulties to get good pictures from the dolls' house. The photos are too dark.
